Join us for cocktails and light bites as we gather and settle into the evening. There might be a few short toasts during this time to kick off the celebration and raise a glass together.

The Ceremony
Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Piedmont, CA
The ceremony will begin in the early afternoon and last about 45 minutes to an hour. Afterwards, we’ll take a few quick group photos outside the church before sending you off for some free time to explore!

We’ll sit down for a multi-course meal filled with great food, conversation, and a few more words from loved ones. No DJ or dance floor, just good company and a beautiful dinner shared among family and friends. The Progress is a Michelin-starred restaurant so expect to eat well.

We'll likely be heading off for a mini-honeymoon sometime in the early afternoon but before everyone heads out, we plan to hang out at a local coffee shop or hotel lobby (TBD) to say our goodbyes. Feel free to drop by! And don't forget, it's Father's Day!

Note about the weather: June in San Francisco can vary from 50s and foggy to 80 and sunny all in the same day. Layers are your friend!

We recommend flying into SFO (San Francisco) but flying into OAK (Oakland) is totally fine as well–just don't fly into San Jose!
Please plan to arrange your own transportation to the ceremony and reception. The Bay Area is full of options: BART, Uber, Lyft, or even driverless taxis (Waymo) if want a little taste of the future.
For those who’d like to walk or take a short ride home after the reception, we recommend staying in Japantown, San Francisco — it’s within walking distance of The Progress and has great hotels and restaurants. Hotel Kabuki and Kimpton Hotel Enso are great options.
If you’re planning to stay on the East Bay side, Emeryville, Berkeley, or the Lake Merritt area are all convenient and comfortable options, though we recommend staying in San Francisco if you can!

The Progress has a phenomenal team who have ensured us they'll be able to accommodate allergies and intolerances. You'll have the opportunity to alert your server of any allergy as you sit down for dinner.
